RFK Jr. faults Fauci’s COVID-19 handling while promoting the standard measles vaccination – Department of Health and Human Services spokesman Robert F. Kennedy Jr. urged Americans to get the MMR vaccine before back-to-school season began and blamed the COVID-19 lockdowns for the cases of measles circulating amid a record-breaking outbreak, just days after former Chief of Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci testified before a Senate committee.
Kennedy appeared on CNN on Sunday for a discussion that was mostly characterized by insults and scientific disagreement on research that might or might not connect vaccines to autism.
Kennedy responded to CNN’s Dana Bash in a back-and-forth on the secretary’s earlier assertions that vaccines cause autism, saying, “You probably don’t understand this because you’re not a scientist.””Well, you’re not either,” Bash said, pointing out that the secretary had no training in science or medicine.
COVID-19 and Fauci
Kennedy said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States had the poorest results of any nation; Bash disputed this claim. He claimed that President Donald Trump intended to reopen the nation and attributed the harm to lockdowns.
Kennedy stated, “In fact, in Anthony Fauci’s diaries, he talks about how President Trump calls him every day, trying to get him to reopen the country.”

Kennedy stated, “In his diaries, he says this is going to cause massive outbreaks of measles and more children are going to die.”
According to Fauci’s blog, the group that “missed their measles vaccinations because of the shutdown” may result in “far more excess deaths from measles among children than coronavirus deaths among children.”
