Chinese Taipei wins 2025 Little League World Series over Nevada – For the second year in a row, a foreign squad has dominated Little League baseball. With the help of their star pitcher, Lin Chin-Tse, Chinese Taipei cruised to the Little League World Series victory in 2025. The Taipei team was the champion of the Asia-Pacific region.
In addition to having the game-changing hit—a bases-clearing triple—during his team’s five-run bottom of the fifth inning, Chin-Tse had a strong pitching line: five innings, one hit, zero errors, zero walks, and four strikeouts. A 29-year drought came to an end as Chinese Taipei won its first Little League World Series victory since 1996, defeating Nevada, 7-0, thanks to the strength of pitcher Chin-Tse and a solid defense. On Sunday, Chinese Taipei turned a trio of double plays, adding to their championship hopes at the 12-day LLWS in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They also received their fourth shoutout of the tournament. Chinese Taipei now has 18 LLWS titles, second most all-time, behind the 40 titles amassed by American teams. As of 2018, the United States had a six-match winning run in the LLWS, and Nevada was hoping to add to that by being the first state to ever do so. The new Nevada pitcher is Jayden Lee, and Chinese Taipei is having a huge inning.
It has been two weeks since he last pitched, per ESPN. The first batter he faced was struck out after five pitches by him. To put runners on base, he walked the next three hitters in a row. After a wild right field single by Lin Chin-Tse of Chinese Taipei swept the bases, the Tigers’ lead ballooned to 5-0. The play was sent back to home to stop a run from scoring after Tsai Yu-Ge of Chinese Taipei hit a ground ball. But the baserunner and batter scored because the catcher threw it away, going past third base and into left field. After five innings, the lead was 7-0 for Chinese Taipei.
Chinese Taipei’s top players cause problems for Nevada’s Luke D’Ambrosio
D’Ambrosio loaded the bases with one out when he gave up a single, hit a batter with two outs, and then enabled Lai Yu-Han of Chinese Taipei to come to bat. But there was a way out of this dilemma for D’Ambrosio. We have yet to score after the first inning. Chinese Taipei wins 2025 Little League World Series over Nevada
